Justin Towne Earle appeared to embody a touch of Billy Mays and Hank Williams- his captivating style was flawlessly executed musically. His accompanying musician (name unknown) perfectly complemented him.
The FB showcased their typical carefree, high-energy personas. Their set, though brief, focused on their more lively tracks. As a fan, I would have preferred a bit more, but the show was definitely not hindered by the condensed (60 minute) performance.
David Rawlings and Gillian Welch stole the show; not being familiar with DR, I left in admiration of his skill. He smoothly transitioned from Cortez the Killer into one of his acoustic masterpieces. It was an incredible set.
